Additional activities
Apart from the activities throughout the year as well as the New Year's Eve action, our organization also has other actions thanks to the generous donations that we receive from some individuals and organizations who we thank very much via our website.
These actions are :
- We have been able to provide Restojet (a social restaurant, located Place Cardinal Mercier, 36, in Jette) with a new stove together with a wealth of kitchen knives, working clothes, and industrial percolator, a soup mixer, pans, etc. This restaurant provides meals to about 75 people every weekday at 3,00 €.
- We provided Mr. Pierre (an 84 year old single man with a very low income) with a television and we also pay his television provider costs. One of our volunteers regularly visits him.
- We pay for the diapers for a single mother (widow) whose son suffers from Duchene's myopathy.
- As far as our budget permits, we also help the children's hospital CHR in Liège. In 2005 and 2006 we donated two Playstations and 5 DVD's to make the stay of the children there a bit more pleasant.
